OME and R910

Question

Hi. We have an old R910 in our development rack (idrac6), I've scanned it into OMEv3.4.1 and can see it needs firmware updating. However in the compliance report, it does advise which updates are required but the check boxes on the left are greyed out, when I hover my mouse over the check boxes, it advises that the 'Device does not support Firmware Update'? Any of you guys seen this before or is the R910 just too old for OME to patch? As its the only one we have and so old I can manually patch it so not the end of the world. however would be good to know. Many thanks in advance

Hello Silver-mox,

I'm sorry the R910 is not listed as supported.

NOTE: The appliance reports the Health status for the monitored 11G Servers with iDRAC6 as Unknown. This is due to the limited capability of the iDRAC6.

For 11gen you can do: (Discovery and inventory) and (Monitoring and device alerts)
