ome services no compatible version

I've upgraded to 3.9.0 version of OpenManage Enterprise. The services plugin shows as "NO COMPATIBLE VERSIONS AVAILABLE" for some reason.

I've other appliances at the same level and they have services installed with no issue.

I've checked the post upgrade tasks completed. Cleared my browser cache and tried other browsers. Rebooted the appliance numerous times. No joy.

any ideas?

I spoke to support , this is the solution

The plugin catalog contains plugins compatible for OME version 3.10, i.e for services plugin new version is 3.0 which is compatible for OME 3.10. If you would like to use the versions compatible for OME 3.9  you can install this via offline method.

There are 2 different ways you can do this:

1. Download the previous plugin versions, extract them to a network share (HTTP or NFS), and then change OME's update settings to point to the Network Share as the source.

2. Change OME's update settings to point to the previous versions that support OME 3.9.x from the online catalog as the Network Share:

Services Plugin -> https://dl.dell.com/openmanage_enterprise/plugins/saep/2.0.1/
Cloud IQ-P -> https://dl.dell.com/openmanage_enterprise/plugins/ciqp/1.1.0/
PMP -> https://dl.dell.com/openmanage_enterprise/plugins/pmp/3.0.0/
UMP -> https://dl.dell.com/openmanage_enterprise/plugins/ump/1.3.0/
OMEVV -> https://dl.dell.com/openmanage_enterprise/plugins/omevv/1.0.1/

Otherwise if you are planning on upgrading to version 3.10 then you will have all the compatible versions available in there.

Hello, I saw an advanced case example for the service plugin problem on OME 3.9. Researched for the problem they replicated in the lab environment. It was stated there that the problem was fixed after manual installations were made. In the same way, since this was fixed in OME versions after 3.9, but 3.9 should be stayed in, a deep examination was made. Unfortunately, I can't offer you an easy step other than the browser cache clear or trying another browser you've already tried. My advice to you would be to reach your local support team with the service tag of a pro support device. I believe they can follow up on the issue.
