Open Manage Enterprise services stuck activating
Currently running OME 3.8.0 (Build 35). After upgrading to the latest version 3.8.0 (Build 35), I am getting an error in the web console: "A operation is currently in progress on the system which could interrupt the session". After further investigation, I discovered that the 'Task Execution Service" and the 'Monitor Service' are stuck 'activating'. I have restarted the services and restarted the VM with the same result. It seems that something happened during the upgrade to affect these service.
Is there a solution for this. Thanks in advance...

Hi, thanks for choosing Dell. The event message alone won't give away much information, I'm afraid. Is your system still in warranty? If so, best to have your logs checked out by the phone support. If you don't know if your system is still in warranty you could also DM me (do not show your service tag publicly) so that I can check for you. Have a good one.

Unfortunately I do not have any systems under warranty right now. Will have some new hardware coming after the first. However, I did notice that the update is still running.
I have tried to stop the job, but it will not stop. If I reboot the appliance the job continues to run. Is there any way to stop this job?
Thanks in advance.

Hello mmj1000,
It may take some more searching and possibly a reinstall.
Can you:
Clear browser cache and check results
Try a different browser and check results

Gents,
Thanks for your help. I decided to re-install the appliance and add the servers back in. Faster and less of a headache. Something did get stuck with the update to 3.8. I tried clearing the cache and tried different browsers. Every time I would login the job was still running. Even tried stopping the job but wouldn't stop.
Cheers
