Question about Alerts - OMEnt 3.2
Hi all,
I'm working through the final setup of OMEnt and need a little clarity on how to setup alerts. At the moment, each iDRAC I'm monitoring sends out it's own email alert and my team and I have to manage them at that level. I'd like to move all of the alerting from the individual iDRACs and into OMEnt. I'm not clear on how to set things up so that OMEnt is notified by the iDRAC of an alert state. Is it just a matter of setting OMEnt up as an SNMP destination on the iDRACs or is there something more to it than that?

Hello
Yes, you would set a trap destination on each iDRAC for OMEnt. This will cause the alerts to show in the Alert Log section of OMEnt. You can then configure the Alert Policies in OMEnt to send emails based on the alerts.
