RED016 mount of remote share failed
Hello,
I'm having a problem deploying software updates to my servers using OME 3.10.1. I keep getting this error - RED016 mount of remote share failed.
I have rebooted the iDRAC on the server, updated the iDRAC to the latest firmware, rebooted the OME appliance, cleared my cache and even went to Application Settings - Console Preferences - Built-In Appliance Share and enabled CIFS v1. This worked in version 9 with no issues. I'm out of ideas, anyone fix this issue? I see other posts with the same error. I use the built-in share from the appliance repository and there is no firewall between the appliance and server that I'm trying to update. The server is a R640 running VMware 7.0.3g.
Thanks for the help.

Just as an additional note, I even tried to install just one update at a time, and it still failed.

Hi @D.K._,
By default, the appliance file share is made available through CIFS v2. A running
OpenManage Enterprise instance will have smbd (samba daemon) listening on ports 139/445.
One thing to check does the local administrator account on the OME VM does not contain any special characters?
If you have checked that the server's iDRAC is able to manually connect to the share using the web UI, then it could be some issue with the OME appliance. Since you mentioned that OME 3.9 worked with no issues, I would suggest open a service request via phone support to check OME logs.
