Staging nic patch fails but a forced reboot completes the patch.
Hello,
I attempted to install a firmware update to a Intel(R) Ethernet 10G 2P X520 Adapter on an r820. But multiple attempts with a staged update failed. Until I didn't do a stage update, and instead just did a forced reboot. Does a non staged firmware update do a cold reboot? With a staged updated, i would issued a reboot in virtual center on the host, so it would be a warm boot that fails in my case. Or was it 3rd time the charm???

Hi there,
We tried reproducing this on a M830 but could not see the issue. Keep an eye on it and give us a call to open a ticket if you see any reproducible pattern so we can take a closer look.
