Unable to launch virtual console since update to 3.10.2 (Build 13)
Hello there. I recently updated OpenManage (OM) to version 3.10.2 (Build 13) and ever since then, I cannot open a virtual console. It gives the error:
An unknown error has occurred please try again
CGEN9788 - default port 443 should be configured for iDRAC to launch virtual console
Recommended action
Configure iDRAC with default port 443 and try again
But no changes have been made to the iDRAC ports or anything else on the servers. I can access the iDRAC on each server via a web browser without issue.
Restarting the OM server doesn't help and this has never happened before. The OM server is on the same subnet as the other servers and there is no firewall in between.
I'm completely baffled. What else can I try to fix this?

As I can researched similar case history it has been identified that the OME 3.10.0 version is experiencing issues that prevent the virtual console from launching. https://dell.to/4cCu3qq
Should you have any concerns regarding this matter, an upgrade of OME from version 3.10.0 to 4.0 or 4.0.1 is advisable. There are several potential causes for this issue, with one of the most frequent being a change in the iDRAC password. A change in the iDRAC password can disrupt the connection with OME, as an example.
It’s also possible that the issue is due to a configuration error, which can typically be resolved by re-discovering the server within OME.

I have the same issue. I have 133 servers on OME. Virtual console only possible to launch on PowerEdge MX740c servers directly from OME. Rest of the servers like PE 740, 540 all are having same issue while launching virtual console directly from OME 3.10.2. looking for a solution..
