Wrong iDRAC firmware offering

Dear all,

have OME version 3.9.0 build 55. When I check what iDRAC firmware is suggested to be installed on PE R640 model it is 6.00.00.00. Current version is 5.10.10.00.
The link to this driver/firmware is: <ADMIN NOTE: Broken link has been removed from this post by Dell>

But it is pointing to nowhere.

When I manually check latest iDRAC version for R640 it is 5.10.30.00:
https://www.dell.com/support/home/de-de/drivers/driversdetails?driverid=wpnpp&oscode=xi70&productcode=poweredge-r640
so I suspect the 6.xx version was removed for some reasons.

I did a catalog resync against Dell repository but nothing has changed. Still same 6.00 version is suggested to be updated to.

Is there any delay before faulty firmwares are revoked from OME? How can I force OME to offer me the 5.10.30.00 version of iDRAC instead of 6.00.00.00?

I'm having exactly the same issue here, also with R640's.

Hi Marcal,

it explains why firmware 6.00.00 was removed from Dell download are but then also it should not longer be offered via OME.

ps. Ok checked it again today and iDRAC 6.00.00 is no longer available via OME for PE 640. Now recent version is 5.10.30.00
