Alert Email Action - Email Settings
In the user credentials section of the Alert Email Action - Email Settings configuration I want to verify the correct sytax to enter.
It lists:
Domain \ Username:
If my full computer name is ome and a user on this widows server is bob would I enter the following?
ome \ bob
Not being a windows user I am more familiar with just entering a username:
bob
or the full emaill address
bob@hostname
Also in the SMTP server name can I just enter localhost?

If there is no domain membership and if it is just a local user, then it will be:
localhost\username
Email address is: bob@somedomain.com (it has to be full qualified domain name).
SMTP server is your mail server. You may want to check on the mail server details in your Outlook or any mail client. Usually it is not localhost...
