ESXi and R630s
I have a discovery and inventory that uses the Device Type filtering for ESXi and it finds my hosts, but the R630s all show up with a question mark, where the FX2/R630C show with a green check mark. Also I noticed that none of the R630s show up under systems update. I have installed the vib for OMSA via Update Manager and also configured SNMP.
Any ideas? I'm sure these servers must need a firmware update by now!

Hi, thanks for the query.
I believe you are trying to discover those R630s in-band through OMSA. What OS these servers are running? Since you said ESXi's are working fine, those must be other servers. Additionally, what do you see while running SNMP test in Troubleshooting tool against these servers? Another thing to double make sure that community string provided for SNMP protocol under discovery ranges must match in case-sensitive manner with all configured servers.
