If you can, have a quick look at the update whitepaper on www.delltechcenter.com/ome. It is called Update Dell Servers with OpenManage Essentials and search on the section on Agent Free updates.
I read over the whitepaper, but in the agent free section its talking about updating through the iDRAC, where as i want to update through OMSA ( Sorry if I should have mentioned this previously )
If it helps, whenever i discover and inventory the device it always comes up as unknown and it is caused by the iDRAC.
I wasn't the one who set up the servers, I've just been tasked to make sure they are running by checking up on them via OME. Could it probably be something as simple as not having the OMSA agent installed on the one server?
Thanks Again
*Update: I ran the Dell troubleshooter and the WS MAN says it could not connect.

See if that helps then we can go from there.

Hi Rob,
I managed to sort my problem out, I was trying to perform all the tasks on the servers IP instead of the actual iDRAC IP, thanks again for the help.
