To help you prioritise feature requests - A better feature would be for OME servers to federate so those of us with more then 2000 hardware devices to support didn't have to deploy and manage isolated instances :-)
Hope to see improvements such as these in future releases.
At this time, neither OME 1.0.1 or OME 1.1 support this feature.
We have it as an item under consideration for the next release of OME that is just getting started.
The only other way to work around this would be to put one of the instances on a local SQL install, though your company policies may or may not support this approach. And it obviously doesn't get the cluster benefits you are seeking.
