Yeah, so I think that would be the windows credentials to the OME server (where the share is).

Also, there is a whitepaper on delltechcenter.com/ome....search down and it is under the Config section...I think I put (NEW) at the end of the line.

We should be putting some server config videos up later this week.

A bit more detail:

The screenshot is helpful (figure 13 in the whitepaper… examples below are from the screenshot).

 

  1. ISO Filename = name of the file                ex: Filename.iso
  2. Share IP = IP address of share                    ex: 192.168.1.1
  3. Share name = full folder path to share   ex: CompanyShare\IsoStorage\Os
  4. Share Username = username used to access the share. Must have permissions to the share.
  5. Share Password = password of the user used to access the share. Must have permissions to the share.

 

The share is CIFS.

Thanks Rob. For some reason I thought it used an external service, not one on the OME server.

In that case since we already have an NFS server for distributing other ISOs and images to our Xen Clusters how do I get OME to use that for ISO location rather than locally?
