Are you using repository manager to create the repository?
It looks like the inventory information for the driver is is not returning the correct version as installed version. Can you try restarting the OMSA service on the target node and then running inventory for the target server?
Have you tried running inventory manually after the target server was rebooted? Can you also check on the server inventory page(right hand side pane when you click on the server in the device tree), what driver version is shown in the Software Inventory Information table?
It is available on the right hand side pane when you click on the server in the device tree. You want to check the software inventory information table on that page to see what version of driver is being reported.
I wasn't able to find this on the OME server, but I did look at the OMSA client on the server and this is what i found. Physical Interface: Intel(R) Gigabit VT Quad Port Server Adapter
Description Intel(R) Gigabit VT Quad Port Server Adapter
OMSA is showing driver version on the target node. We want to know if OME is gathering it as part of server inventory since that information is used in compliance report.
When you say you couldn't find it on OME server,
1. Do you mean to say there is no inventory for that server in OME? or
2. You are not seeing the software inventory table as part of inventory? or
3. You are not seeing the entry for this driver in the software inventory table?
Do you see the target server classified correctly in OME device tree?
4. On the right side, you should see the server inventory. There are a number of tables. One of them is software inventory information. It should have lots of driver data in here.
Thanks Chris. I think Abhijit has a good repro on this. We are trying to root cause and see if it is in the Inventory Collector software than runs on the managed node (OMSA) or OME. Once we find that out, we'll have a better idea at when a fix would be available.
If you would like to look at this closer or need any more info please feel free to contact me. Any idea when the new version will be released that will fix this?
Hey guys, possibly the same issue with another PowerEdge 710 update. Below shows the same issue with the Intel Network Adapter but also an "Application" Optionail Drvr ID 53 , it reports version 0 currently installed as well. I put it in quotes.

To view the server inventory:
1. Click on Manage
2. Click on Devices
3. Click on the "Server" node in the device tree.
4. On the right side, you should see the server inventory. There are a number of tables. One of them is software inventory information. It should have lots of driver data in here.
Hope this helps.

Thanks for the update Chris. This does look like a bug. We'll update the known issues list and fix it in the upcoming version.
