OME (1.1.1) alerts missing description
Hello All,
I just upgarded OME to 1.1.1 version. However, I received warn, critical alerts that missing description. I used to receive alerts with descrription as battery, hard drive ... on old OME version 1.0. Do I miss anything on configiration or it is working as design? many thanks for your input!!!
Device:Server name, IP address, Service
Tag:FJ9XXXX, Asset Tag:, Date:04/25/2013, Time:13:18:14, Severity:Warning,
Message:Warning Status Alert. Device: server name

Between OME 1.0.1 and 1.1/1.1.1, we have added more devices and alerts. All the alerts in OME 1.0.1 also exists in 1.1/1.1.1.
What is the device model (Ex: PowerEdge R710 etc.) and type of device (Ex: Server, storage, switch etc.) ?
If it is a server, is this alert sent by OMSA or iDRAC ?

Hello Raj,
Thank you very much for your help. Dell Support just helped me with this issue. This issue happened to all my device model (r610, R710, R810...). The issue was on system event. When I configured the alert, I selected the system event under associated alert categories. I unchecked that and now everything is working fine. Now I recieved only one alert for warn or critical instead of two.
