Hi cameron...happy new year :)
Can you check to see if you are an administrator on the box and User Access Control is off?

Turning off UAC did the trick! :)

It's not actually necessary to turn UAC off to solve this. Run As Administrator is sufficient.
But the install should really request this by itself. Just embed that in the exe's manifest.
