Has it *ever* loaded? That is, it used to work , but does not now.
Or is this the first time you are trying?
I've seen this in the past and it might be a problem with the IIS configuration or settings. Is there anything unusual about your IIS setup on your server?
Did you let OME install IIS, or was it already config'd on the OME server?
Thanks for your post. This typically happens if the account you are using is not part of OMEAdministrators/OMEUsers group. Can you check the permissions for the account you are using?
In that case, something might have gone wrong during the the installation. Can you check the log file at c:\Windows\Temp\InstallUtil.log and see if there are any errors. Also the does the account used for installation have administrator privileges?
This has Never loaded. This is the first time I am trying. IIS was already setup as the server is hosting WSUS. I did install IIS 7 using the prerequisite install. I am using IE 9 and Firefox 15.
When OME is run for the first time, it creates OMEAdministrators and OMEUsers as local groups on the OME server. You can look at those groups using Computer Management option under Administrative tools. The windows administrator group is automatically added to the OMEAdministrators group.
Since you have WSUS installed on the same server, this may be the issue of incompatible compression schemes. Can you try the following listed in the FAQ documentation:
1.4 Q: What if I see this error when I launch the console – “HTTP Error 500.19 - Internal Server Error the requested page cannot be accessed because the related configuration data for the page is invalid.”
A: Remove/Disable the XPress compression scheme from the configuration using the command below:
%windir%\system32\inetsrv\appcmd.exe set config -section:system.webServer/httpCompression /-[name='xpress']
OR
Add an attribute of "precondition= "64bitness" for this module entry so that it loads only in 64bit application pools
The current version of OME does not support SQL 2012. OME wiki page has the link for OME documentation including the support matrix. Here is the direct link to the english version of support matrix which lists the supported databases.
I have the same issue, however, I am using SQL 2008. Looking through the suggested log, the OME groups are created but when I check my local groups they are not there.

The account used is a Domain Admin Account. Let me look at the log and get back to you.

I appreciate everyone's help. The issue turned out to be trying to use SQL 2012. Once installed on SQL 2008 R2 it worked just fine.
Thanks again!

Could it have something to do with Using SQL 2012?
I see this in the log
Could not find stored procedure 'sp_dboption'.

Have you tried the WSUS workaround? As I mentioned there is a known compatibility issue between OME and WSUS.
