Also, if you are just trying to manage your servers via OME, you may try installing OMSA but do not install the web server/client component. I think that will just install the instrumentation that can be used by OME. Of course you won't get the OMSA web/http client, but you can still manage it via OME, collect inventory, health, etc.
That might be something you can look at while waiting for OM 7.2 to release.
I tested it and it functions. As work around we can live with OMSA without web server. Perhaps it is additionally a solution for our WSUS Servers. The OMSA web server crashes the WSUS reporting Server.
