Remote tasks for only iDRAC7/8 excluding iDRAC6

Thanks for the post and first of all regret the delay in responding back to this query.

Good news - yes, there is a solution in OME which will allow you to run remote tasks against targets with specific generation.

1. Create a custom device group by right clicking "All Devices" node in device tree (Manage->Devices page) or clicking the "+" icon.

2. On the "Device Selection" step of Device Group Configuration wizard, choose "Select a query" radio button option and design required query (for ex. Device Model contains PowerEdge M610 or Device Model contains model xyz, etc.)

3. While creating desired remote tasks like racadm command line tasks on the Target selection page, the device group node (created using step 1 and step 2) will appear which one can select.
