it appears that this is a known issue, please see the Important information at this link.

to get around this issue, I highly suggest using the Nautilus firmware update utility.

This file is a zip file, run it and it will extract to a folder, go to that folder and then run dddp.exe and it will help you create a bootable media/usb key to perform the update.

is  this under Win 2008 or 2012?

correct. Then when the target system reboots, the agent on the target system will inventory the system, then in OME, if you tell it to refresh the inventory, it should show as updated. if you prefer to let OME do it on its own, it will do so depending on the frequency set for inventory or status, usually this happens within a day.

Thank you.  

So all I do is insert the USB drive and reboot?  Then the firmware will automatically update?  Will OME System Updates list the server under the Compliant Systems tab?
