Pro Max 14 nvidia gpu not working
Just got a new intel pro max 14 with rtx 500 blackwell gpu. 3rd party applications seem like they are not able to utilize the dGPU. For example, when gpu acceleration is enabled in adobe illustrator the program will crash opening new projects. The error from the crash is the same as if there is no dGPU installed. Another exmaple, I try to run 3dmark benchmark and none are able to run. They say the renderer must have at least 6gb of vram, but my rtx 500 does have 6gb.
I'm on the latest firmware version, the latest windows update, the latest nvidia driver. I have tried older nvidia drivers, selecting the nvidia gpu in windows graphics settings, in nvidia control panel. I have tried changing the adaptive c-states setting in BIOS and looked at all other BIOS settings. Nothing seems to work. We are also experiencing the same behavior with another new pro max 16 laptop. I am guessing it is an nvidia driver issue. If I run the gpu tests in dell support assistant they all pass.

Intel Arc Xe graphics and RTX graphics show up as two GPUs in Windows so software has to be able to enumerate the logic properly to use the appropriate devices.
C-States have no impact on graphics, so leave them on.
I have 3Dmark as well an it runs OK on my Dell 3480 which is 13th gen with RTX graphics.
So maybe your windows setup is managed as my machine is recent and everything works.

Thanks for the reply. Our windows environment doesn't manager anything like that. I have the previous gen precision 3490 with a dGPU and it works just fine. I think it might be a nvidia driver issue but have no way to prove it.
