Adding 300Gb hard drive
I recently purchased a 300Gb hard drive and obviously I have run into the limitation problem. Oddly enough I am only showing 128 Gb in disc defrag not the 137 I know I should have. But that is not my issue.
My issue is that I purchased the Ultra ATA controller card which is suppose to support the larger capacity hard drives and I am still unable to partition the rest of my hard drive. I have yet to update the bios to the A04.
I am curious if anyone can help me get this pc to read all 300 Gb of my hard drive with or without using the ATA controller.

If you encounter problems then try another download of the file and use another blank floppy disk. If either of those two items are bad it will prevent a successful BIOS update.
The actual time it takes the new BIOS code to be written is less than 30 seconds. While the upgrade is in progress do not interrupt the upgrade or do the upgrade when weather conditions might indicate a possible power failure such as doing the upgrade during a thunderstorm. An interrupted BIOS upgrade may corrupt the currently installed BIOS and thus require a motherboard replacement.
