Additional 8400 info

Hello, I've had my dell 8400 since August now and wanted to know more about it, things that the manual don't say.
 
First off - cooling: Is my 8400 ok for cooling? it has a x800se fitted. I'm not sure I can say the fan makes a lot of noise but it makes more than my 4300. The hard drive reports 35c most of the time which is ok I think?
 
Would I be right in saying that there is newer revision of the 8400?? If there is a newer revision I suppose I have the first one without the improvements?
 
Would I be right in saying that I have first generation high latency ddr-2 533 ram that in most cases is not as well performing as ddr-1 ram?
 
Sorry for the list of questions, I just like to know more about my 8400 - never had a problem with it but like to learn more about it.

If you don't already have it, go to lavalys.com and download their free Everest-home software. It will tell you all kinds of things about your 8400, including RAM latency, who made the RAM... It will even show you how your PC compares with models with different CPUs, RAM etc. Good way to compare.

Dell has a "Card" fan assembly for the D8400 to cool the PSI express video card, it's listed on page 90 of my manual and can be purchased from Dell.by contacting Technical Support.
