I ordered Alienware Aurora i7 930 3.36 ghtz and they sent me i7 930 2.28 ghtz. I called them and asked why this happened, they have no answer and they said ok we will replace your system and this one does not allow me to play a game at all.  I will wait for few more days either I am going to ask my money back.

My experience with Dell has been good. I find them more rugged and reliable thn comparable brands like HP, Lenovo etc. I have used a Dell desktop for over 4 years day in and day out without too many issues and only recently I had to replace some components. But I guess thats the case with any electronic gadget. If given a choice would surely purchase a Dell again.

I also had a HP notebook and it too had serious battery issues. So one cannot say you will not have trouble with other brands. It happens.

I am talking about Brand New Alienware Aurora ALX (Cost $ 2424.00) not Refurbished. I don't know who you are? You are using dell from last 4 years but We are using Dell more then 11 years and never had big issue and never bothered to contact Dell Tech department. Read my issue again so you can understand what I am saying.

As far as when it comes to Dell branded product they can help you, but I think when its come to Alienware then they talk to you like they are handicap and have no idea or control about Alienware products.

I said WHY I am getting something different then what I ordered from a company like a DELL The name I trusted. Why are they selling Computers on their website when it is not in stock or it will take months & months to build or deliver? After taking long time Why are they sending different System than we ordered? Why there is nobody responsible person to answer? Representative on phone are and have no idea what you are asking and have no idea when my system will be replaced. When you ask for Supervisor they do not transfer they said Manager will give you same answer? That means how Representative him self, and He is very sure about his Manager that he is also just like him and can't answer? After I tried online chat and site asked for my service Tag I submitted my service tag and site says we found you have Alienware and Sorry we do not have online chat support for Alienware? I think Dell is losing value of their name because of Alienware products.

I am not hired by anyone. Just stating a fact that my experience with Dell has been good. And being positive about something doesnt always mean you are being paid to say it.

Questions/comments about Alienware should go here. But ranting will get you nowhere, regardless of where you post it on these forums :emotion-5:

If you didn't get what you ordered and actually paid for, go here and click the Customer Service link.
