Blurry images off the net

Hi Folks,

I have had my Dimension 2400 for about a month now. The first thing I knew I had to do was pump up the memory (now 512)

I am having a real hard time trying to get claer images off the net. Are there ungrades, downloads or just simple tips and comments that you all can offer to improve my net images.

Thanks

There really isn't much that you can do to improve the images.  The easiest way to explain the blurry images is to say that the Internet is to blame.  If the author of the site did not include higher res. images, then there is next to nothing you can do to improve them.  Are you using one of these new "high-speed" dialup services?  If so, these services only work "faster" because they compress the text and images a little differently to make them appear to load faster.  Is the site you are having trouble with a well-known site, or is it a site made by an amateur?  You could try to upgrade your drivers from www.intel.com (if you are using the integrated chipset and not a PCI card.)

If you are using AOL, it maybe the result of its built in graphic compressor. This was originally designed to speed up the loading of web pages. Try settings/ internet options / AOL Browser/ click "Never compress graphics" radio button. Ok or apply
