Dell Dimension 5000 Microphone problem
Hi,
When i use the front jack with my mic the sound is really quiet. I have a sb live card, when i connect the mic to the jack on the card the sound is fine. Is there anything i can adjust to enable the front jack. Thanks

Check the internal cable between the mic jack and the sound card. If the cable came loose in shipping the front jack would not work.
If the cable is connected and correctly the sound card would appear to be defective. There is nothing else that would disable the front panel mic jack.
