Have you tried downloading and installing the most recent revisions of Dell Support Center (it is up to 1.3+); the one on my cd never allowed me to access the e button. Also check in Device Manager to see, under System Devices, whether a Metolious Vendor-Defined Sensor has been installed (that is what enables the e button). If it has not been installed, then uninstalling your present version of Support Center and installing one of the newer versions should fix that.

I went into msconfig and stopped it from loading on start up.
