What about E-Mail? Can you run OE instead?

I would imagine so, I don't use OE myself so I can't say for certain. Outlook Express comes along with IE 5.5 and I have it in my Programs menu so I would assume I could use it any time after setting it up.

Greetings...

Regarding the questions on the *new* DellNet service, you can read THIS FAQ for more information.

It seems to me it may be little more than an AOL clone. If I read the information provided correctly, the only mail service is web-based so, the answer in regard to Outlook Express is, "no". As to other browsers, it seems the MSN Explorer is the browser of choice. Although I find it hard to believe there will be no other options, this is indeed the only one I find mentioned. I find this browser to be woefully inadequate for serious use and, consider it appropriate only for the true novice.

I hope I'm wrong about this but, from what I see, this service could look good only when compared to AOL.

Dan
