Dell T7500 PRECISION DUAL PROCESSOR X5680 3.33 shows 24 threads in Device Manager & 12 in Task Manager
hi guys, my name is Qaisar & I am using Del T7500 WORKSTATION, I need urgent help to solve ths problem, the problem is my system shows 24 cpu in device manager and in task manager it shows only 12 please help me to solve this problem. My hyper threading is enabled.

Hi Qaisar,
Go to MSCOFIG, boot tab, advanced options, and make sure number of processors is unchecked. That way, all processors are available on boot. If it is already unchecked, check it, set the CPU number to its maximum, reboot, then uncheck and reboot. Remember to make settings permanent,
