Dimension E520 Freezing and crashing!

Hello, i've had my desktop since late october of 2006, and in the past month its been causing a whole lot of problems.

I play Guild Wars, Age of Empires 3, and Battlefield 2142 on my computer. Up till last month, these ran fine. Now at completely random times, the computer will freeze up for 5 seconds-5 minutes, or just completely lock up and cause the computer to shut down.

I have all the latest drivers, and the only programs I am running in the background while playing Battlefield 2142 is Xpadder, which i started using after Christmas, way after the problem started.

Anyone else having the same type of trouble?

Could it be the entirely piece of graphics card or the low wattage PSU?

It's not the PSU as even at peak load the 7300LE doesn't push it that hard. I play Guild Wars for hours, Half Life 2 and associated mods and a few other games with no issue. You are most likely having a software issue, not hardware failure. I have read the latest nVidia drivers have issues with GW and the 7xxx series, what driver version are you running?

Did you use driver rollback or did you clean them out via Add/Remove Programs? Might be worth wiping them clean in safe mode and installing the last version as a test. Driver Rollback doesn't do so well with video drivers but nVidia's uninstaller is really very well done and removes just about every trace (wish ATi could say the same thing).

well, i just recently (within 20 minutes) installed the 93.71 drivers, i had rolled them back and tried others when it first started happening, but to no avail.

I used the nVidia uninstaller through add/remove
