GeForce 6600GT help
hey guys, I just bought the GeForce6600GT, there are some confusions for me right now.
1) whenever I try to scroll down with my mouse or move around a program or windows, it looked as if it's refreashing everytime I do that. So I called the tech support for PNY, and they say it's something have to do with 330 Watt....and they tell me to ask Dell if my computer can use it, so I called Dell and they say my computer can use the card, but I am still having this problem, what did that guy at PNY mean when he said I have to change my computer or something so it can take 330 Watt? What do I have to buy ?
Thanks in advance

We don't know if you have a pci-express card for your system, if it handles this, or a agp slot 6600 GT card, which needs the extra power cable connected to the back of the card and to an extra power source to work. What system do you have ? ( Model number ) My 250 watter is working just fine with the 6600 GT agp version card. If you have the 250 watter, this is the mean average and the peak is around 345 watts, so you should be fine.
Dim 4400
2.6 Ghz 400 FSB
1 Gb 2100 DDR Memory
20 Gb hard drive 7,200
Windows XP Home - SP-2
Leadtek 6600 GT
48xCDRW
17 LCD ( 1703 FP )
250 watt power supply

ANTEC True powerII 550 watts fits fine.
However I installed a 6800GT OC from BFG and it runs fine with the stock dell 250 watt PSU.
No need to hack a hole in the case to get a standard PSU to fit in the 4600i Tower.
