Image file errors
I hope that SOMEBODY can help me with this problem! Everytime I work with an image file I get the following error message and a lock up.
ERROR:0E:187:BFF8E64B
I have done the following things to try and fix this or find out the problem (which seems to be many!)
I first did a system restore. It worked for a short time and then went back to doing this.
I've upgraded my virus signitures and ran a scan (Nortons) NOthing there
I deleted all offline content, history and cookies in the internet options---this worked too for about an hour or so.
I looked in add/remove hardware and it said:
PCI Multimedia Video Device---driver not installed.....couldn't find a driver on any of my back up CDroms from Dell
I ran the resolution assistant and found problems with the following things using the diagnostics in devices
PCMCIA----missing or corrupt .ini file
SMART drive ----missing or corrupt .ini file
EXTENDED SMART drive---missing or corrupt .ini. file
When I try and hook up with the Dell technical support with the resolution assistant I get this error message:
Details: (SimplePages.cpp:565) (CmdLayer.cpp:354) Failed to escalate incident [145466831.1@Twells]. Error = 33
