Inspiron 24 7459, which SSD

There's some confusion in my mind over which SSD to install in my new Inspiron 24 7459; The service manual states that it accommodates an mSATA card and the specs contradict this and say it supports an m.2 card.

Moreover, though the specs further state that a 32GB SSD is optional, it doesnt say whether this is the maximum supported drive size or merely the maximum offered by Dell.

So, can i effectively utilize an SSD larger than 32GB like one say 1TB or 512GB in size? Does the BIOS allow this drive to be configured as the boot drive? If not in the BIOS, how can this SSD be utilized as a boot drive.

If the SSD accomodates large sizes, and it can be used as a boot drive, what is the best way to transfer the system (including the recovery partition) to this newly installed SSD?

Lastly, can someone offer a recommendation of a specific SSD that is known to fit properly and work correctly in the Inspiron 7459?

Regards

There is another thread about this same issue, however it doesn't really clear things up much.  It does show a picture of the MB which definitely has a m.2 connector on it.  I would really like to get this answered as well.
