Inspiron 24, Screen black

​i ran an automatic Dell update on our 8 month old Inspirion 24. Screen went black and I thought it was just rebooting, but it was actually shut down. When I turned it back on, all I got was never ending flashing red, green, blue, white. No end, no escape. 2 futile hours on the phone with Dell will cost our business 2 weeks of down time while computer is sent back to Dell for warranty. Biggest frustration is that this seems to be a 'known' issue for at least 5 years and Dell seems to be infinitely disinterested in the problem their update has caused. 3rd business day since, and Dell is just now getting box in the mail for us to return. Then, another ???? days until we get it back. ​
