KERNEL32.DLL Error

I'm trying to use my scanner to copy a document. Each time I go to copy - I get a message "Copy has created an error KERNEL32.DLL.. Any suggestions on how or why this happens? I have restarted the computer, Reloaded the Scanner program, no change...

roberer, I would do a complete virus with the lastest definitions first.This errow has a broad area to search,but this will give you a good place to start and a good meaning of the errow.Go here http://www.aumha.org/a/k32fix.htm
