Keyboard keys send wrong codes....

A different keyboard is the first thing to try. Keyboards do fail and the motherboard has nothing to do with it.

Thanks. I am surprised and delighted to report that exchanging the keyboard fixed the problem. I am now using the MS "Natural" keyboard I bought over a decade ago but never opened. Thanks again.
