MSN-Canada

Why does the network bring me onto MSN Canada? I live in Texas - shouldn't I log onto MSN USA? When I ask for some searches, I am going to Ottawa and Toronto. What have I done to deserve this?i

This happened to me too, but I don't think this is really due to the network per say, but in which country MSN/Hotmail thinks you are residing.

I don't live in the US, so initially MSN took me to my local site, which is not in English, and since neither I nor my Dells can read the language, it is of no use to me.

Eventually, I fooled it by telling MSN (actually in Hotmail if I remember correctly) I live somewhere (anywhere) in the US, so now it always takes me to www.msn.com, and nowhere else, except when I type it in deliberately.

This is another "fine" example of Microsoft thinks it knows best about what we want - clearly it fails terribly in this case.

Hope this solves your problem.

Do you have lots of Ann Murray and Five Man Electrical Band records in your house? How about a supply of Tim Horton Donuts? This could be the problem. Also, when using MSN, do you type the phrase "eh" into the search box frequently?
