Need to create a startup disk from Internet
I have a problem with my computer. I need to go online and create a startup disk as I cannot create one through Add/Remove Programs. Is there a place on line that will allow me to create a clean start-up disk?

You can get one from Dell by following these steps:
Dell has created a cdrom boot disk with DOS based drivers on
it that is available online for you to receive via email. This
disk contains drivers for ALL of the cdroms that Dell has
installed, including both SCSI and IDE/ATAPI drives. The file
creates a bootable disk that can be configured for use with
any Dell system.
To obtain this disk via email, just compose a NEW BLANK
message with no text in the body, just a subject. If your
email program requires there be text in the message body,
just put a "." there. Address the email to
FILEREQUEST@DELL.COM with the following words in the
subject line: PLEASE SEND ME THE DELL CDROM BOOT DISK
NOTE: Make sure you use this EXACT subject or the
automated system will not know to email you the file and you
will need to send another email with the correct subject -
spelling is very important.
