Not a valid win32 application
Recently I had to reformat the HD due to severe corruption of files.
With the help of DEll's expert tech support, the machine was up and running in no time. However, during an attempt to re-install the software for the digital camera, the following error message came up;
SETUP.EXE is not a valid Win32 application.
Why after re-formatting is this software no longer a Win32 application, when before the re-formatting there wasn't any problem?
The software is on a 3.5 floppy and is the only software that I have. The camera is connected to the computer via a USB cable, but is useless until the software is installed.
I have checked with Google.com to see if any of the strings listing this error message apply to this situation and could not fine any. Those that did mention K B GEAR Jam Cam software also mentioned it being on CD.
I have/will e-mail K B GEAR about this.
In addition; it has been suggested that there may be a problem of the A: drive gettimg ready to die. It will stop functioning during backup, error message that the system can not read from the specified device, ect.
