Optiplex 9020 Micro configuration

I do not see the additional DP or HDMI card on any of the sales sites. You need to call into Dell Canada Sales and see if the salesperson can manually add it to the Optiplex 9020 Micro.

In December 2014 I purchased an OptiPlex 9020, with on  board or integrated Intel HD Graphics Processing Unit 4600 configured for three Dell WFP2407 monitors which have a native resolution of 1920 X 1200.. Like you, I could not find this choice with the triple monitor configuration, on the Dell web site, so I purchased it from another company, which customized an OptiPlex 9020. I assume you can do the same and have probably already done so.

Two Dell WFP2407 monitors were connected DisplayPort (DP) to DVI monitor connectors, using two "ACTIVE" adaptors and are working fine.

The third Dell WFP2407 monitor was just VGA cable to VGA connector on the monitor, but the VGA port does not provide the 1920 X 1200 native resolution required by the Dell WFP2407 monitor, which I will just have to live with. The difficulty is viewing an XL spreadsheet spread across three monitors, because the VGA connected monitor has a different size.

The maximum was three monitors, so I could have changed or swapped one of the DP to DVI monitor connections to be instead, DP to HDMI monitor connected, but that was not my choice, but I think it would be your choice.

The only problem, still not solved, was the low maximum screen resolution provided by the VGA port. The native resolution of the WFP2407 is 1920 X 1200. The two WFP2407's connected DP to DVI with "active" adapters, had the desired resolution choice of 1920 X 1200, which is fine. But for the WFP2407 connected VGA to VGA, the VGA port did not provide the monitor's required native resolution of 1920 X 1200, but instead the highest resolution choice provided by the VGA port, was 1920 X 1080, so the VGA to VGA monitor still worked but was a bit fuzzy and not sized the same as the other two WFP2407's using their native resolution.
