Optiplex GX110 processor upgrade

I purchased a GX110 that was being replaced at my place of work. It is currently equipped with an Intel P3 running at 996Mhz, supported by Dell A09 BIOS. I would like to upgrade to a P4 processor. Is it possible? Any recommendations?

Thanks.

You cannot upgrade to a P4. The GX110 maxes out at 1.1GHz Celeron (without a voltage converter (this would allow up to 1.4GHz), which is only 100MHz faster and is not worth the money, unless you get it for free pretty much.

You can upgrade to a max of 2 x 256MB memory (be sure to get Intel 81x-series chipset compatible memory, as not all SDRAM memory will work).

You can pick up a GX240 or GX260 for relatively little money and it is much more upgradable and quite a bit faster. I would recommend a tower model at any time as it is better for upgrading and judging from other's experiences has fewer heat-related problems.
