Peripheral Configuration change by BIOS update
I just updated the BIOS on my XPS T500 from version A02 to A11. So far everything works, but when I looked back into the BIOS settings at startup, I noticed a change in the Peripheral Configuration setting for the "Mode". It was changed from "ECP" to "Bi-directional". Should I leave this change?
Thanks

bobangk,
Thank you for using the Dell Community Forum.
If this does not cause any problems then leave it. If it starts to cause problems then change it back.

Looks like "bi-directional" in my BIOS is what they are call EPP, which looks like it does the same thing as ECP.
Thanks for the help Les.
