please help blank screen

Hello I just bought a 9600xt to put into my dell 8300 when I got the card it did not work all I got was a blank screen I didn't even get to see the bios screen. I tried it into another PC and it did the same there it acts like the card wont wake up? So I shipped it back and just got a new one today and guess what it does the same thing IM all out of ideas. check the power requirements for the card..it's possible that your psu is underpowered which is why you're getting a blank screen

Ok I been looking for a while now but I cant seem to find the PWS info any where? But would that make the monitor not come on?

I still cant get it to work but I tried to vnc and logged into the machine. I can see the card and so I know the card is working now but after i tried to set up the drivers my screen locked up and now i cant get vnc to load with the 9600xt card in it maybe I'll go get a bigger power supply what would you recommend? thanks for the info :)

are you seeing the dell bios screen now???if you are and your system only goes blank when windows boots it could be a prob with the res on the card..are you using a tft monitor by any chance
