I ordered my XPS 420 without a monitor.  You just have to select "No monitor" in the monitor configuration page.

Q: If I order my XPS 720 with Vista can I get it in Green instead of Red or Black?

Q: I am considering the XPS420 and would like to use my old M990 monitor, keyboard, mouse, and printer. Is this possible? And is it easy to connect these items. Grandma Judy
The keyboard and mouse can be reused if thy are usb. If they are ps2 connections, minimally a ps2/usb adaptor is needed... It might make more sense to get the inexpensive dell versions... The printer will be dependent upon available drivers (vista).

Note that if you want to keep your keyboard or Mouse you probably cannot. The XPS 420 does not have the "Standard" Mouse and Keyboard ports. This is strictly a USB Motherboard.
