Real mode drivers?

I am trying to install Jane's Advanced Tactical Fighters on my new Dell XPS 600r w/Win98. But the games tells me that I need to have the game run in MS-DOS mode. But it also tells me that I need "Real Mode Drivers" so my D:\ drive will be recognized in DOS. I looked on Dell's site for the drivers and found nothing. The game wont't run from MS-DOS because it doesn't have these drivers installed. Does anyone know where I can get these drivers? This game is a pretty good classic and it is a shame that I can't use my new system to play it. Can anyone help me?
