Whats the optimal amount of memorey /DDR2 RAM

 XPS400 2.8Gig 820 D Dual Core -VIIV
O/S WinXP Media Center Edition 2005
2G.B. DDR2 RAM 533MHZ-4x512M.B.
Samsung Hard Drive 250G.B. 7200RPM
ATI 128M.B.HYPER Mem PCI-E X16 X300SE.DIM
ATI TV Wonder Elite PCI
19" FP
Sigma-Tel Intergrated Audio 7.1 channel
Logitech G15 Keyboard
DVD-/+RW & DVD-ROM
Pertelian X2040 ForeSight Systems LCD information Display
Dell 944 AIO Printer

My system has four memorey slots ,a full at this time with DDR2 PC5300 512 M.B. x 4 ! THis gives me a total of 2 G.B. of total RAM . My question is do you think that this is enough for my system with the O/S WindowsXP MCE 2005 ,I have no plan on changing or upgrading the O/S to Vista ! Any idea if I will notice a increase in performance with a additionial G.B. of the DDR2 RAM ? I have read that 3 G.B. is the most WindowsXP will reconize ! IO thank all in advance who reply to my ? . Thank You,its always appreciated !
 Take Care ,Gumba Nick
