xps 200 pci slot

i presently have an inspiron 5100 , i would like to move up to the xps 200 . problem is , the only way that i can connect is with a verizon data card in the pci slot . today i visited a dell kiosk , and was told that i would have to use a pci express card and i would have to find one thru a 3rd party . so , when i came home i went online to a xps tech rep . i was told that i could find one when i customized the xps 200 .well , i cannot find any mention of pci data card of any kind . does anyone have any better advice than what i have received ? thanks , don

Are you using Verizon Wireless' 3G data network?  If so, you'll have to check with them but I don't think anyone makes a PCI or PCIe card for that.  I only see cell phone, PDA and notebook adapters.

davejohn , after spending most of the day on this , i was told that the xps 200 pci express slot was only for vidio . i'm now looking at the xps 400 , which has 3 pci slots . i hope that it will take my data card . do you have any info on the 400 ?  thanks for your response , don
