XPS 400 error

Question

My dad just bought a XPS 400 and sometimes when I click on internet explorer a error message comes up saying ' Microsoft Virtual C++ Runtime Library '. This also happens when trying to open up My Computer. Any solutions?         Thanks

You have a program that is failing on startup.   Start going through spyware and 3rd party software programs, that is usually what is causing the error your seeing.   Guardian

Now that you mention that, I did limit my startup icons.
