XPS 730 System Exchange
I have a XPS 730 that is still under warranty
and recently I noticed that the hard drive fan was making noise. I sent an email to Dell tech support and
received a response back that they are going to setup a system exchange. (they didn't even ask me first..) I was told that they no longer replace the
liquid cooling parts/fans in those systems and that it would be replaced with a new 8500 computer. I have put the specs of my 730 and those of the 8500 below. Can anyone give me some advice on this? I would think that the 8500 is not as good as what I currently have given the liquid cooling and extra room for upgrades. Any help would be appreciated.

The answer will actually depend on you. For the two options available, I might choose the 8500 over XPS 730.

I would like to inform you that XPS 8500 is a good upgrade option.

The configuration that has been selected is equivalent to what you paid for. So the configuration is always identical or higher.
Moreover, the XPS 8500 has enough room for upgrades, be it memory, hard drive or graphics card
