XPS B vrs. T series

Hello:

I currently own an XPS B600R ... I am considering getting a used XPS... What is the difference between the B series and the T series???

The only thing that I can see is the t series has an extra slot for RAM. Are there any other technical differences?? Thanks ....

The B uses RDRAM.  The T does not.

interesting ...

Ok, it looks like the T uses SDRAM DIMMs ???

RIMMs (B series) or DIMMs (T sries) - which is a better way to go ??? cost - availability - speed ...

Thanks for the info, Rick ...

T series dimms readily available and cheaper than RDram. System is upgradeable to a 1.4 celeron via the Powerleap converter.  Maximum ram is 768 Mb of PC100 using 3-256 Mb chips.

B series with the RDram has not been easily upgradeable, Powerleap has a solution for the 370 chip, you would have to look at the website for more info concerning cost for either system.
